Personal Breakthrough

People ask me what a personal breakthrough with me looks like, what we do and how it works!

So here goes…

First, we spend about 45 mins, this is free, working through questions to establish exactly what it is you want to work on. I explain exactly how I work, as the process is different to, and an alternative to, traditional therapy.

Then I set you some tasks. These could include making journal entries (weight loss or quitting smoking) or reading a small book and writing a short book report.

Then once you have sent me your task and paid for your appointment – this is your commitment to change – we set an appointment time.

 

The Program

This Program provides powerful choices for growth and positive change for your future. It will set out to trace your behavioural patterns and their origin. This provides context and offers you a way to break free of patterns which may be limiting you.

The results bring a greater sense of self-acceptance and meaning to your life with a clear way forward.

​This program may be able to assist you with anxiety, depression, self-worth and belief, trauma, impacts from childhood, marriage or relationship issues, purpose and direction or finding fulfilment.

The process can take 10-12 hours – this is usually done as a full day (9:30 to 3:30) followed a two to three hour appointments as needed, however this is flexible.  If needed, further appointments will be scheduled until the process is complete.

At your first appointment, we work through questions to find the “Prime Concern”.  This is the emotional issue underlying your problem.  We then start using techniques such as Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy to address this and remove any negative emotions (anger, sadness etc) and limiting beliefs (I’m not good enough, I don’t deserve to do well etc) attached to this.

This process is like a guided meditation, where I talk you through going back on your time line to an event where you recognise the learnings and release the negative emotion or limiting belief.  Deep down we all have these negative emotions and limiting beliefs and may or may not recognise them without support.

Depending on the issue we can spend several sessions dealing with it.  Each session is tailored to your needs.

The Program is designed to help you – so I am flexible with making appointment times and can be available 7 days a week (by arrangement).

The Breakthrough Program will have you experiencing changing beliefs and ideas, so I provide follow ups and extra support when needed. If you are starting to struggle, please call me, I will make time to see you – no matter how full my appointment calendar is.

What is NLP?

Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) provides many ways for you to create positive outcomes or change behaviour. It eliminates obstacles, restores and builds energy and it brings your goals into alignment, burning through life’s obstacles.

NLP is a process where we focus on the brain, the words we use, and the subsequent behaviour.  By altering the language, both the words we speak and our self-talk, our behaviour and the way we feel, changes for the better.  This is done by working with the unconscious mind which is where our beliefs are held.

Using NLP you will learn the language of your mind and ensure better communication with yourself and others! Neuro Linguistic Programming is about bringing changes in perception and communication and developing your responses in a given situation.

NLP works on the principle that everyone has all the resources they need to make positive changes in their own life and I can assist you in discovering those resources within.

What is Time Line Therapy?

This is a powerful therapeutic process that has evolved from hypnosis and NLP.

It is based on the concept that we store our memories in a linear manner in an internal memory storage system. The therapy provides techniques for personal change and growth by eliminating painful emotions attached to memories or events in the past.

We also focus on what we can learn from those events and use what we learn as a resource for the future.
